Floral Installation for an Art Studio

The Challenge

The artist wanted their studio to breathe life and natural texture throughout the year, regardless of the season. A durable installation was needed, one that required no maintenance and would serve as a focal point and source of inspiration for the visual art works created there.

The Solution and Process

We designed a modular vertical composition, akin to a "living painting". The process involved three essential stages:

• Research and Selection: We gathered over 15 species of dried plants (lavender, sage, echinacea, honeysuckle) for a warm color palette of pink, violet, and beige.
• Structural Design: We created a support from naturally treated wood, with niches and branches allowing for the individual mounting of each bundle.
• Artistic Assembly: Each element was fixed manually, respecting the principles of balance and visual rhythm, to create depth and movement.

The Results

The installation became the emotional center of the studio. It not only provided aesthetic beauty but also stimulated the artist's creative process, with many of their new works integrating motifs and textures inspired by this composition. The solution was 100% sustainable and long-lasting.
